Adele Ramsay

Registered Nurse / Senior Service Coordinator

Hi, my name is Adele, and I am a Senior Service Coordinator at Ability Rise Accommodation and Care. In addition to my role in the disability sector, I am a registered nurse under AHPRA. I completed my nursing degree at UniSA in 2014, and my early career was centered around intensive care nursing, where I gained significant experience working in cardiothoracic and medical ICUs across Southern and Western Australia.

In 2020 I transitioned from my ICU role into the disability sector. I started as an employment consultant for individuals with disabilities before shifting into support coordination within the NDIS framework. My diverse background in health and disability care has allowed me to bring a unique set of skills and insights to my current role, where I help individuals build their capacity, achieve independence, and live their best quality of life.

The critical thinking, adaptability, and clear communication I honed throughout ICU nursing have seamlessly transferred to the disability sector, where I continue to support clients and their families with a holistic, person-centered approach. I am passionate about teaching and providing guidance to our support workers to ensure that every participant receives tailored, compassionate care.
Outside of work, I have a love for true crime documentaries, DIY projects, gaming, and spending time with a partner and two large dogs – a German Shepherd and a Belgian Shepherd. I’m always up for unplanned adventures to explore new places, create new experiences and try new things.
